LAUTECH Lecturer Died Due to Unpaid Salary

When I heard about the death of this lecturer, I became sad and weighed down. This is because of the pain and suffering this man had been through while alive especially when he was hospitalized. For some weeks, the man was in a state of coma, and after recovering back, He was unable to receive proper treatment due to unpaid salaries. I can still remember that some members of the staff unions donated some amount of money to rescue this man alive but unfortunately, he gave up at the end.

Information emerged that there's no anytime this man sight any of his colleague without asking whether the government have paid their salaries. This is owing to the fact that many of them are living-dead.

'Shey won ti San owo wa? That was his usual slogan everyday even when unaware of his death in propinquity let alone receiving salary before or after the school resume. I'm sad, depressed, and I can't just imagine how God will deal with these wicked leaders who only appear in human skin. For God sake, students and staff are dying everyday while they continue to enjoy and merry, they relish our compromised education as they gaze lovingly at the opulent education of their own children abroad. Our disquiet is their own soothing balm. What a leader ? What a government ? Oh, that APC party must never return back in both oyo and Osun states unless we are ready to suffer in silence. It's just so painful and frustrating to be in same level since 2015.

I know LAUTECH workers, civil servants and students will never forget *Ladoja* for prioritizing education, and am sure history will never forget ISIAKA Omo GANI tailor and Baba kabiru for their highhandedness and intransigent attitude. I pray God reward everyone accordingly.

To this end, I also pray God give the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss. May his soul rest in peace. Amen!
